Dual exhaust under the IRS
I am posting these pictures per a request... next time I will use ball joint connections instead of flanges and round Magnaflow mufflers so they do
not hang down and are not so visible. The oval Magnaflow mufflers are mounted in the space originally used for the Jaguar resonators... they are hanging by the same mounts.. just had to make the end pieces smaller to hold the Jag exhaust tips.
The exhaust manifolds are Corvette Ram Horns from Speedway Motors ..I ported them to match the LT1 gaskets - next time I will use their brand of tubular chromed manifolds.
Using tubular headers (twice) I had poor results with lots of cracking at the flanges and exhaust ports. You would need to use a flexible head pipe connector to avoid all the cracking. See them mounted on my Wall of Shame!
Using the "S" curved stock exhaust tips makes it quieter and no exhaust fumes with the windows down.
