Not AFAIK or hope. The issues are more with getting the correct matching drive-train for the manual setup, but you have those already. Maybe a few hose differences but again you have those on your car. I think the auto had an oil cooler for the transmission.
If you can hear the engine running and maybe perform a compression test on before buying it.

Staying with the manual, definitely. The current engine has no compression in 2 cylinders, with a third dodgy. So rather than getting the engine rebuilt (which I can't really afford), and assuming I'll end up with parts left over if I strip and rebuild it, I thought an option would be to get a donor engine.
