I use small brass OD tubing from a model shop... shove it in and use epoxy to seal all around the new tube. Then you have to use a smaller
piece of hose adapted to the original larger size...
DO NOT THROW THE PART AWAY. New ones are not available and most used ones are broken like yours...

That is exactly what I've done after unsuccessful search for a new one Works just fine.

Clarke, thanks for offering the heater controls in my stereo removal thread. I've pulled the stereo out and the centre slider control has a snapped hose attachment port, so I'll definitely need them!
Here's a pic of my broken one still attached to the support bracket:
Can you also grab the whole metal support bracket that houses the centre heater control and the stereo?
Woz, I found one in my stash tonight but broken in the same place. With luck the one tomorrow will be ok. As for brackets, if it is no good you can have this one I have spare.
I will send you the least molested one.

Sorry ChampInSD, will not be cutting panels.

Pawel, I found this one in the parts I have stockpiled over the last 2 years. Yours if you want it, my car has air con(won't be needing it)
Well, after a 6am start we had a successful road trip to collect parts. 8 hours later we were back at Chateau Fireball having a coldie.
We left Rathdowney (after a quick scooner at the pub) to return home amid storms coming in two directions and made it about 1/3 way home before the trusty Jeep got hammered by small hail and big rain/flash flooding before we got to Beaudesert.
Sorry not much more to add tonight as a carton & 1/2 of 4X was enjoyed with the good DR before his wife drove him home.(Not happy ).The wife, that is!
Will get to sort stuff later in the week.
(Dr Phill has been my spanner man(advisor/mentor in all things mechanical) since 1983 when he was a first year apperntice mechanic)
Heater control/ radio bracket was worse(more butchered) than my spare and same vacuum outlet broken on both, looks like you will be heading to a model shop for propeller tube.

As suspected on the Radiator Support Cross Member, happy with the mirrors. I'll get the prop tube from the model shop and get busy.
Thanks again for your efforts, very much appreciated and what this club is all about.
Huge thanks to Jim for the generosity of his offer.
Many parts have or will be put to good use from Brisbane to as far away as Poland. I will post pics of the remaining parts I have available after I finish sorting and cleaning.
What a generous thing you've done, Clarke, you and your friend, Jim!
It had to cost you something, fuel at least, to strip and ship all these parts.
Even though I don't need any, nor would it be feasible to ship them from you to me, I've stripped a few parts off a couple junkers, and I appreciate the time and effort you've expended to spread One Old Jaguar all over the world!

Elinor, just a bit of time and fuel. Not much compared to the massive amount of help I have received from the members here to get my car sorted over the last 2 years.
