Question on replacing inner foam on front seats, do these seats have a
inner preformed hard foam mixed with the regular foam?

I'm about to have the seats upgraded with new leather.

Or any more information on this subject would be appreciated.

Walter, I too am interested in new foam for a series II. World Upholstery shows foam on their web site. Maybe others offer foam as well. Please post what you find.

I'm about to give my front seats to the local upholsterer, have the seats
out ready to take them over. I'll show the article from worlduph.com to
them to see if they know about it. They sure seem to have everything
you need for seats.

Be sure to replace the rubber diaphragms under the upholstery.. otherwise it feels like you are sitting on a toilet lid. Or, better yet, replace them with straps like modern cars...
