Fuel Injector Harness SIII V12
Ok so i've decided to bite the bullet and rebuild my injector harness I'm in Victoria, Australia and am looking for some high temperature cable to make it with.
It has been suggested that i use Silicone or teflon insulated wire but I'm having a hell of a time finding somebody who will sell me short lengths!!(i mean not full rolls)
does anybody know of an alternative or somewhere online that i can purchase it?
Thanks in advance

Gonna be hard to find except on spools. The shortest I found was 50-footers from Painless Wiring, and that was years ago.
Hopefully others will chime in with better news.
Naturally high temp wiring is the most desirable BUT I think the biggest improvement comes from simply re-configuring the harness so it doesn't live right down in the bottom of the Vee.
Getting it up alongside the fuel rail with some decent heat-resistant sheathing would probably be fine, even with standard wire. Lots of vendors sell good sheathing by the foot.
Cheers

As per Doug + heaps.
I am a scab by nature, so what.
I purchased 5 metres of 7 core trailer wire, 3mm, and Wurth brand from a truck parts supplier.
Seperated the 7 wires, made my 3 looms (3 V12's at the time) with new injector plugs, and soldered terminals only.
Sourced some heat shielding tubing (similar to what is on the power steer hoses over on the LH side), and slid the new looms thru it, and then tucked the new looms up on top of the cam covers, under the inlet manifold, so all that is visible are the pigtails to the injectors. That was 13 years ago, and still pliable and sweet.
Cost then was $155/loom, all up. The injector plugs (Bosch) were the dearest items.
I also tried sourcing Hi Temp stuff, too hard, too stressful, waste of drinking time, simply got on with it with what was readily available, and back to enjoying the beast/s.

Well what I've found from the USA is:
high temp rated (I think 180c) in 100ft spools for $17us a spool.
I've also ordered a heat resistant sheath and a couple little things
for a grand total of$130us delivered.
now the only thing i need to find are the pigtails do you happen to know a part number?
Cheers guys
