Fuel leaking out of hose without obvious connection
View from below. The leaking hose comes out between the two “carburators”?
Hello
I will appreciate if someone could give me a few pointers with a problem I have please.
I had the car parked for a couple of years now (it was running fine when I last used it) and replaced the spark plugs, battery and cleaned the in-line fuel filter that goes into what I believe is a carburator.
When I made contact (fuel pump started) I noticed there is a line that comes out half way in between the two carburators that pumps all petrol straight to the ground, right next to it running parallel there is another one thinner also hanging at similar length. Both don’t seem to have an obvious connection anywhere and I tried to insert the thinner one inside the fuel leaker but it was so rigid and brittle that snapped.
Does anyone know what could be wrong or where am I supposed to connect it if I accidentally pulled it out while cleaning the filter?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Gabriel.
I am in NZ, if it is too difficult to diagnose online maybe we could do a FaceTime or whatsup video call and I can show it directly.
