Default Fuel Tank Fuel line fittings needed

I have a nice tank but I can’t find the compression fittings for the fuel pump line and for the return line. Anyone has a set for sale ? If a bit of the steel pipe is left that’s a plus.
In the photo the brass plug is for a carb xj6 and the adapter is also for xj6 (smaller diameter adapter) fuel line. This same tank is used for v12 injection as well. So for the xj6 they plugged the return line and installed an adapter for the smaller fuel line. British thread
Does the XJS use the same treads on its fuel lines ?
Thanks
(tank in photo is the bad one..)

fittings / adapters like those made of brass might be sourced in the plumbing section at HomeDepot, Lowes, or ACE Hardware in the USA.

Those can be hard to find these days, I think it's Moss that has them but they're around $60 for three pieces. They're UNF threads and I think you don't want to thread a standard fine thread fitting in there. One forum member found fittings and adapted to AN, which is one good idea. I spent hours on searches a few months ago, wish I had consolidated some of it in a thread.
I'd contact David Boger

Thanks. I’ll try XJS lines. I think they have a 1/2in (large) fittings and a small. I have them coming and see if they fit…
I keep things original and don’t want to force the wrong fitting in there. I have now a set of spare XJ6 fittings..as seen in the photo. Jaguar used the xj12 tanks in some XJ6 s and plugged the fuel return line (injection) with that brass plug, and used the adapter to reduce the tube size for the xj6. V12 needs the larger line.

I think they are SAE 45 degree flare fittings. I find them at places that deal with industrial hydraulic fittings.

So I was WRONG. Xj6 is one tank (injection or not, if carbed injection return is caped).. small vent hole on top.
xJ12 same looking tank but with Larger pipes internally and larger fittings ! So I’ll have to use my xj6 tank as a gravity feed for the xj12 tank… after I clean it up inside. (Cut open and cleaned and rewelded)..

I can buy a new tank but I prefer a Jaguar original tank in there.

the work is to cut open original and restore it. So unfortunate many got tossed away !!!
use 110 leaded with a bit of marvel mystery oil and it will be good for a long time !

colonoscopy

note the Soriano outboard in the back ! https://www.soriano-outboard.com

Yes so delivered in Switzerland (garage kept) 1977-1983 then to Naples FL 83-2024. Now in AZ. I was 5 miles away from it when I was a 8 year old kid in Switzerland. Definitely not your regular “jaguar”. Daimler double six (French spelling)

they are not created equal. Some are great and some are horrible. Nothing in between
It’s a 150 mph sedan.

not to highjack the thread but there's also the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - not only does it have four doors and a power convertible top, the doors are removable...

Back to the topic at hand - I might have them. I'll check for you this weekend. I welded AN bungs to the tank so I didn't need to reuse them.
