Yeah, that's pretty bad !

It's for someone who has a lot of class: all of it second and spelled with a "K" :-)

Cheers

This needs to be nominated for Jalopnik's Nice Price or Crackpipe. I bet it goes for over 90% Crackpipe. I may have seen worse, but it's been awhile. WTF with the Ford straight six? If you're going to lump a Jag, at least put in a V8.

Not pretty to be sure, and now I suppose that I should move it to an appropriate section.

Let's see,

Off Topic, nah too much traffic.
Sights and Sounds, it sure is a sight.
Other Jaguar Models, has possibilities.
For Sale, nope, not a member selling.
Interiors, well it has been hacked about.
Engine, Ford Straight Six, certainly a mod.
Wheels and Tyres, well, they are hideous enough to warrant a comment.
S Type, it is an S Type sort of. But I won't inflict it on the guys over there.
Detailing, it could do with some.
Audio/Electronics, with all the spaghetti hanging down, it probably needs help.
Exterior, there's a thought.

Well I'm stumped!

So in order not to put anyone off their dinner I'll leave it here.

Sorry guys

I know someone who could use the bumpers....now if it was original, wire wheels, sports spats, manual overdrive with original 3.8 and unblinged, I could live with the paint, it's quirky, but to butcher it and put buck rogers wheels on it, tints and badly done trim...why bother. In the UK we call them D*ck'eads.....poor old MKII didn't warrant this....I feel so sorry for it.

Ya know, on second thought thought, I don't think breeding is going to an issue with this owner. Think about it.

No kidding. That POS is a grade A chick repellent. On the plus side, it looks the body and woodwork are complete. I would say $4K is a reasonable offer.

the owner could've at least polished his wheels a bit... they look dull compared to the disco paint

great job with the interior too! love how the gauges on the dash don't match! and don't get me started on the wood haha

note the sarcasm

Default Truth in advertising ...???

Apparently none of you nay-sayers bothered to read the auction copy!

"Original Alloy Wheels"
Yeah, they're DAMN sure original! (Do we have a barf emoticon....??)

"Fully Restored And Chromed Motor"
Restored ...? Never mind it's a Ford engine?
Well, at least it's an inline six and not a freakin' small block Chevy.

"4 Tone Chameleon Metallic Bronze Paint"
If it were truly "chameleon", you wouldn't be able to see it.
Unfortunately, it's not.

$23,000 ...?
Apparently a typo.
Shift the decimal point one place to the left and I might be interested.

But then ya got the original poster's question:
"I need a bag to hurl in please....."

Well, imagine how many bags you'd need to cover your head drivin' that bitch from California to Mississippi!

It boggles the imagination!

Well, the tint is pretty dark so i'd say the owner would only need to use one large paper bag... maybe two just to be safe

I'm thinking it may be from a mid 90's Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth, going by the gearshift, and the seats.

Either way, oh god why?!

I think you may be right about the seats. They look vaguely familiar.

I can't get these horrible images out of my head; they kept me tossing and turning last night. But I have learned two new terms. Auntique: Old classic "refurbished" badly, and lacking in taste. Auntique "Dealer": Jack leg who, lacking in taste and skill, should be permanently banned from Pick and Pull.

This is your basic BCD car.

Birth control design. The army used to issue BCGs to the troups. Birth control glasses. No female would come near you while you had them on.

Hmmm.
Mother Nature and genetics presented me with a different but somewhat similar scenario.

No female will come near me when they have their glasses on.

Okay, this is just a horribly failed attempt to modernize the MK2. This guy clearly belongs in an American car, and not something that was once nice and British.

Here is a much nicer modernization of the MK2. I'm happy with nearly everything but the door mirrors. http://www.beacham-jaguar.co.nz/MARQ...ACHAM+MK2.html

Back to our Chameleon buddy. Paint is absolute rubbish. On ANYTHING this would be horrible. Chameleon paint is bad on everything. Putting it on a Jaguar just makes it worse. The chrome bits on the side skirts, and wheels are just REALLY bad. The wheels. SERIOUSLY? Not to mention, it seems like it's got an extra side view mirror. It's got 3 (I'm not %100 with what is/was stock)! The $30 Walmart special fog lights are a massive WTF. The headlamps aren't stock either. The really bad purpleish tint job, and the strip on the front windscreen. The massive exhaust pipe. The extra badging and lights on the boot lid. Back to the wheels. Those are just straight rubbish. The interior: nothing is right. The whole thing needs to be gutted. Even the wood (note the wood around the gearshift is fake). Are you THAT lazy that you needed to install electric windows?

Oh! Thank you. Mmmmmm... MUCH better. Now maybe I can purge the memories of those awful pictures from my brain.
