My 86 VDP with Doeskin interior. Regular treatments of Leatherique (once a year) and sheepskin seat covers along with tinted windows have enabled me to keep the interior looking pretty good.

example; the center console of my 1965 S type is covered in leather The center console of a 1986 V12 Coupe is also covered in leather. But the center console of my 1984 XJ-6 is covered in Ambla.
The cars which had the Daimler-style seats (and that means all Vanden Plas cars except for the 1988-91 Canadian-market V12VDP which used Sovereign seats) had full leather interiors. See my posting #15 above with the photo of a Canadian 1992 V12 VDP interior - just about everything is leather - the seat tops, sides, backs, all armrests, door pockets etc.
Many modern Jaguars (my F-Type, for example) also have full leather interiors - seats completely, door panels, dash, console, even the headliner. Jaguar craftsmanship did not end with the demise of the Series III in 1992.

Ambla was the trade name for a very high quality vinyl used by Jaguar.

Again, in answer to your original question, for Jaguar interiors contact BAS in Vancouver!
