Jaguar help please!!
Hey guys, i just purchased an 82 xj6 yesterday, and when driving home, it broke down. I was going about 65 and the car spontaneously stalled out. I had to get it towed. When i put the key in the ignition and attempt to turn the enging over, it wont start now. The tow guy also mentioned a few cut off switch that the xj6's have. I dont know if that is relevant to anything. I am totally new to the jaguar community. Anybody know what the problem could be???

RE: Jaguar help please!!
These older jags normally die because the fuel pumps quit, the lines are clogged up with rust, or the fuel filter is clogged. The gas tanks in the back had a problem of rusting out. If that's the case, they need to be replaced.
If the fuel pump quit, it's an easy item to replace.
