Yes, four fuses....er....on the Series III cars, at least. What car do you have? Anyhow, clean the fuse end caps and the fuse box clips. Ands check the headlight ground wires which are on either side of the sheet metal framework around the radiator

cheers

Did you check the ground/earth?

Do you have a test light or test meter to do some basic checks?

Cheers

Suggestion:

Make your self a test light. From simple to elegant.

Any small 12 v lamp socket and bulb. A black wire and a red wire. Solder and soldering gun. The probes can be most anything, from a pair o skinny nails to pices of clothes hanger wire.

Or, no socket, only a bulb? No problem. Solder the red to the contact tip of a bare bulb. solder the black to the brass body of the bulb.

But, in your case, the blown fuse is a strong clue. Over load somewhere. Fried a wire or connector til it is open?

A visual tracking might find that open.

Great news after giving up it,I decided to spend a bit of time cleaning all the spade connectors on the electrics and when o went to finish up I thought I would try one more time and they LIT UP!!! changed them over to a halogen set up that I purchased a couple of weeks ago and now we have LIGHTS! Thanks for the hell and patience. I still can't get my dash lights working but hey ho.

Great, it works almost every time1

I call it Jaguar Electric Mantra. clean, tighten and in some cases lube, connectors.

Or, a term, I am accused of coining, "electrickery.

But, make that test light. I grew up on them for lesser critters. Pre meter days for me.

I did make a crude VM. An NOS meter intended for an IHC truck. Made up some leads and probes. Still ion my electrics box. although, I now have analog and digital VOM's, somewhat recently joined by an inductance meter.

As, I am far from an electrical genius, I keep each in its original box replete with the use instructions.
