It took a LOT of hours to get it looking like this, so I can more than appreciate what some of your engine compartments look like. I know what it takes to get there. Congrats!!

Cleaned up the engine bay a bit after some long over due servicing. Ball joints, water pump, coolant hoses, brakes all around, bleeding brake fluid, differential drain and fill, undercoating, and heat mat behind the dashboard.

Custom made by a guy in Arizona. Housing is fiber and filter is K&N. Contact me if you want the address and phone. Cost was about $250.00 for all of the cold air kit...connections to the throttle body we're not included.

I used a XJS V-12 air cleaner that I reversed the paper filter into and then used a elbow bend to hook up to the air mass meter of the AJ-16 SC engine. Looking at Roger's set-up I would have to make another bend to get to the clean, cooler air. Thank you for the info, But mine is done, Moving onto a leaking rear main seal, Then some collapsed front subframe bushings. Larry Louton

Hard to see the stand alone intercooler.

Should have dusted first.

Default Jaguar Xj6 Motor Pics!

I spent a bit of time on the polisher as I was rebuilding the carbs. The balance tube is actually made from the original EGR port.

I had left my Series 3 XJ6 in storage during the Covid crisis. We don't have a mouse problem in our area but we do get rats.
I need not have worried as it was being very well guarded by a carpet snake which is a local type python. They are not venemous but can bite.

well guarded

very comfortable

Runs pretty good for having been dormant for 10 years, even if it is a little rough and rocky.
