watch out for leaks in the front and rear windshields, around the edges bubble and rust and then water will get into the car...and if the car has a gas smell be weary that you'll need to address the evap system...it can be done, but is a total pain...

If the XJ you are interested in has been recently painted, run a magnet around the bottom of the windscreen and the rear glass-especially in the corners. It is very common to have rust thru in these locations and the 'quicky' fix is to fill with bondo. If the car has original paint,good or bad, with no rust in these places, one can pretty much surmise that the car has been sheltered on a regular basis. Cheers, Andy
