That's what I'm talking about!!
More of us should post pictures of DRIVING our cars, not just WORKING on them when they're Broken!!
Too many people have the idea Jags are always in the shop for repairs because that's all they see here.
Good Job, Darren, and Congratulations!

Drive them, Don't hide them.

On a much smaller scale !!!! I dusted off my XJwuzza 6. We went to the post office. miled tax returns. Sure glad to get those off my plate. less than 5 miles by any measure.
But, definite enjoyment by me and the cat. Detour for a burger. Longer way home.
A bit of a hill and a road with little traffic. Poured on some power. Still has it!!!

Jeep is jealous. Battery down. Passed up chance to use the new toy. a jump box.
Just put on the Smart charger. It was down to 10 volts. After a few hours, charger reported 100% !

Got a new phone. special for hearing challenged. Me. Swapped old similar phone
It dropped out some calls!!! Telemarketers!!!!! WOwee . It just rang. Oh, oh a telemarketer., new phone dropped him!!!! but, Clarity is so much better as is bell tone!!!!

Other factoid. LED bulb in desk lamp went out with a flicker... Not like the incandescent. Light or dark?? Alas, I replaced it with a spare incandescent.

Better light!!!!

A cruise! I read about those in the history books, you lucky guy!

Maybe next year around here. For now, doggo and I go to the local McDonald's every week for ice cream in the XJ6.

Drive my '79 about 100 miles every weekend. Never broke down on the road. Just keep those electrical connections clean.

Default Rock Stars

Today I was in town taking a friend to pick up an order, and when we came out of the store, 5 or 6 people of various ages were standing around Nix, some nearly drooling, one taking pictures with his phone, another one petting the rear fender.

My friend said, "Look, Elinor, it's like they're mobbing a Rock Star!!" She would know, she's retired from the business.

I said loud enough for all to hear but not to sound angry, "Do you like my car?!" All but 3 of them (one of whom had the phone) scattered, but not very far. One fella to the next slot to his giant, lifted, dirty 4x4, one woman went back to loading her hatch back 2 or 3 cars away on the other side, but both were still gazing sideways at Nix.

The 3 who were left (20 somethings) stopped to chat for a bit, asked if it was mine, was it really a Jaguar, all remarked what a Beautiful car! I thanked them kindly.

As we were leaving, another white haired 'lady of class' got out of some kind of White SUV (they all look the same), trying Really hard not to stare, but we could see her glance furtively about every 2 seconds.

My friend said, "You and your Ride are Rock Stars!"
