Unfortunately the amount of rust in this one may be a major problem for you.The cost of the body work restoration can easily drain your financial resources.
When my#31 got seriously damaged in an accident, I considered transferring everything into a suitable rust free donor body that I had available in my garage. However after looking into how much work this would take I decided to drop the idea completely.

Yeah Bob that was a consideration for me with this car too..
I have an 84 that I would have transferred all the V12 VDP parts from, but our titling laws would have kept the body title, and not the 92 title. So essentially I'd have been building an 84 XJ12 VDP.
So the alternative to keep the 92 title is do what body work has to be done, which is replace the front wings, repair the rear wings, repair the front right jacking point, and some repair to the rear radius arm areas... I'm sure you and Mark have both seen the photos on Facebook.
It's rough, but it's selling for just a bit over recycle value, and way less than parts value.. And will be a good thing for Mark to tinker with on those cool Wyoming evenings...
I didn't want to kill it, but didn't have the time to save it. Marks definitely got the heart to do it.. Plus I'm pretty sure that neither of us have the type of restoration in mind that you generally pull off.. Your cars are amazing!
Cheers,
David

Not so amazing when they end up like this. I just wanted to strangle the stupid woman that was responsible for this.
