Default New steering wheel

I contacted Ididit about replacing the steering column with tilt and a cruise control switch, it will not fit a Jaguar with a stock dash. The turn signal lever
would be too close to the dash to be safe to find and work properly. Our turn signal lever is bent about 45 degrees to clear the dash... theirs is straight.

So, I replaced the Grant wheel with another one that is dished 3 inches. Now with the column telescoped out there is clearance for my hands and it is
closer to me. Using the same brand allowed me to reuse the adapter and horn button with the Bow Tie emblem.

You can also see the cup bolted to the RH ash tray that holds my WeatherTech phone holder that is adjustable and allows the cell phone to be turned
sideways to use as a GPS. There is also another cup added to the center console top cover to hold a beverage... not shown in the photo.

The tablet in the center tray is for the fuel injection monitoring and note the added vents added to allow more air from the heating and AC system.

The GPS speedo is out of the dash and was sent to Speedhut for a pulse input for the new cruise control I will be adding. The cruise control switch
will added to center console where my mask is now laying.

Tach is from a V12 Jaguar and then adapted properly to a V8 at Red Line Gauge Works in CA. Has been in there for many years now.....you noted the high RPM limits!

Yes! The higher red-line gave it away. Surely that is not the stock V12 red-line, RL Gauge Works must have added that for you!? Just one more of those all-important details that make a factory looking conversion.

No, the red line is stock V12... I did not know they revved that high either.....but I wanted that ability for my 383/200R.
You are the first person to notice it!

We're on similar paths Roger, and thanks to you and others, my journey has been a little easier. I'm still hoping for a spring/early summer debut with mine.
