If you like to tinker you can gently pry the switch(es) open and clean the contacts.
Another common cause of slow windows is dry felt run channels....some silcone spray will help loosen things up.
Also, the window regulators themselves are often stiff from lack of exercise (especially the rear ones) and benefit from a thorough spraying of aerosol penetrating solvent to loosen the joints and soften the dried grease...followed by a generous slathering of aerosol lubricant.
While the trim panels are off you can give the door latch mechanisms the same treatment.

Thanks Doug. When we first got the car the windows didn't work at all. I replaced two motors, reconditioned the regulators, and did what you described in cleaning the switch contacts. They were pretty worn out, but it got them to work for a few months. It took a lot of work to get the windows back to par but it was one of my favorite projects.
