Newcomer and happy to be here
I am about to be the proud owner of a new-to-me 1986 XJ-6 and have a couple questions. The car is gonna be a driveable restoration project. The interior is rough, the clearcoat is peeling. Has a bit of bondo. I know I could have gotten a good one reasonably cheap, but what fun would that have been? You have to understand about me, I love the high-end imports. I also have a 1994 Saab 9000 Aero Turbo. I want to know whats the best place online to get restoration parts? Wood kits, that sorta thing. I am not JUST looking for cheapest but also best selection. I am sure I will have a ton of other questions later on, but thats it for now. And nice to meet all of you.

One of the neat things about these cars is the excellent parts support. There are plenty of good vendors and even Ebay has lots of Jag stuff.
For mechanical parts Motorcars Ltd, Coventry West, and Welsh Jaguar are three (of many) good choices. For interior trim try Pauls Jaguar in Florida, BAS, or OSJI . For used parts try David Boger at Everyday XJ. They're all on the web.
Cheers
