Oil leak in Series II XJ6

Hey guys, I have a 1976 XJ6L and was just wondering if rear main seal leaks are common. Mine has a really bad oil leak and I'm not exactly sure where it's coming from. Looking into the engine bay, it looks like there's oil splattered all around the rear. Are there any weak points or common areas where oil leaks occur? If it's not the rear main seal, are there any other seals toward the rear that are prone to leaking? I know leaks should be expected but it's no small leak. I'd really appreciate any help to keep my jag on the road for years to come. I adore this car and would love nothing more than to get it back on the road. Thank you!

Common leaks besides the rear main:
Half moon seals at the rear of each cam cover
Oil pipes are rear of cylinder head
Cam cover gaskets
Also make sure the crankcase vent system is clear. If clogged a minor leak becomes worse. If clear, a worse leak is often reduced to a tolerable level.
Cheers

Adding to Dougs list.
The oil drain back hose, oil filter housing TO the stand pipe is sooooo common, and the oil runs down the ledge and off around the rear.
All my time with these beasts, Rear Main Seals mainly :weep", and only have a misty mess as apposed to actual drops on the ground.

I have this theory, bately if at all supported, that seals around a rotatinmg part, rope or other material, rely on a weepfor lubrication.
I noted the compressor on my fq50 had a bit out as a weep wick!!!
In snw country, some spray the underside of he vehices with a mist of oil
