Parts required the convert an S1 XJ6 to Vented Discs and 4 Pot Calipers
As per the title, what parts would I need to convert to the later S2/3 spec front brakes? What parts carry over?
i know it would probably be easier to swap complete crossmember assemblies, but let like know what’s different apart from the discs/rotors and calipers.

You need everything between the ball joints--uprights, spindles, hub, steering arms etc. S3 had different wishbones, but you can retain the S1. There may be metrication required for the brake hoses; memory fails. I bought all the stuff but never did the swap, as many have argued there is little to gain. The S3 booster is different, but I've never been able to ascertain if it has more boost or differs functionally in some other way. S1 and S3 master cylinders are functionally identical. IMHO.
