Default Possible coil-over option

QA1 Proma Star Coil-Over Shocks DS401 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

i found these shock/springs that can be mixed and matched to make a set of coilovers, i was just wondering if a set could be put together for the rear of the series 3

some ride height adjustment would be good for the rears especially for running some drag radials

I don't see why it wouldn't work. If you try it please keep us posted, I'm sure a few of us are looking at differnt options.

I have been looking for options as well. My car 86 XJ6 VDP seems to ride lower at the rear axle. Now that I have replaced the Jag 6 with a GM v8 which is a bit lighter, the nose is now higher, and the rear seems even lower by comparison.

I have read somewhere that XJS convertible cars have higher rate rear springs. Does anyone know if this is in fact true? If so what spring rates do they have ? Has anyone tried to correct sagging rear springs this way ?

I am running 16 inch wheels and with 2 people riding in the back seat I some times get a slight bit of body to tire contact...stiffer new springs may be a bit better solution rather than new stock springs. Or has anyone tried spacers under the 4 rear springs (if they exist)?

after looking into it, i think that these are the coilover shocks that work the best :

and ive yet to measure the stock springs but i think this could be a solution to rear end height adjustment
