Default Power windows

Hi all, I’m a new member as of today, I need a bit of help with my S3 Jag. Yesterday I refitted the centre console, connected up all power window switches ( I have power to all the switches), the front are working as they should but the rear ones and sunroof are not working, any ideas would be much appreciated, thank you.

Welcome aboard

Dirty switches are common. They can opened up and the internal contacts cleaned. There's a good chance that doing so will solve your problems.

Cheers

We've all had that problem. Once you get the hang of it you can open, clean, and refurbish the switches quickly and easily. Lots of write ups on the topic here on the Forum. There are several good YouTube channels on cars like ours. "Living with a classic" has a new one every week. "XJ Jesse" has some good ones too.

Here is one that will help.
