Default The Prettiest and the Ugliest

Today I came out of COSTCO and behind Nix, the Prettiest car on the road today, had parked one of the All Time Ugliest cars ever to come off an assembly line!

I'm thinking the driver was merely attracted to the Quantum Class and simply had to get as close as possible.
It was quite a juxtaposition.

I believe that car makers have forgotten how to make beautiful cars. These monstrosities are emblematic of the 'culture' of the age.

The current BMWs are truly ugly in front view….and then there are the cars whose grille looks like Darth Vader’s helmet…

Thank you for looking everyone!
I forgot to mention, on the way home I discovered (again) that if I'm Really in a hurry, she can kick down into Passing Gear at 100mph.
Well, the lane was ending!

Two 1973 luxury cars. Only one remains elegant, sleek and beautiful after 40 years; the other looks like a tank: Can you guess which is which?

Which one remains elegant, sleek and beautiful after 40 years?

Even when new the MB 280 wasn’t elegant, sleek, or beautiful.

I've owned several of both, and they both have their place in history and hearts. Each in their own right. Having said that, the looks of my XJ6C far exceeds any of my past and present Mercedes. But... is nowhere near as maintenance free. Still... my favorite car ever.
