Radiator sources?

Radiator sources?
Searching major vendors catalogues, it appears no XJ V12 Series 2 (or 1) radiators are available. But many of you are driving around, so have sourced replacement radiators.
I'm guessing the Series 3 XJ V12 must fit, and requires adapters for the transmission lines. Is this true?
The Tech Line for a major old-Jag parts vendor didn't know if their Series 3 would fit a Series 2. But told me to find a used radiator.
As all of these are getting to the "forty-something" age range, not sure I want to deal with someone else's used radiator which may be worse than mine.
I see radiators for our cars available on-line, but they claim to fit a whole range of Jags. Anyone have any luck with the Chinese universal replacements?
Thanks.

Series III V12 and XJS V12 of similar vintage have the same (or virtually the same) radiator. Buy a used one cheap. See if it'll fit. If it will, have it re-cored.
Well, that's one option, at least.
Never bought an aftermarket radiator for my Jags so no direct experience. However, I recall varied experiences from others over the years
Working out trans cooler lines shouldn't be too much of a problem
Not much help, sorry
Cheers

Had a custom made triple pass aluminum made for my XJ12L. Guy came out, measured, when home an built a wooden one to test. Came back with the mock up. Did some adjustments to the lower neck position. Came back again with an engineering print I signed off on. A custom radiator was then built to spec.
Same process for my MK2

Rather than start another thread, I'm hijacking my own.
Are the radiator and oil cooler attached? I thought my radiator was free, but is trying to bring oil cooler with it. Yet I cannot see where they're connected.
While it might seem obvious to disconnect oil cooler & bring out together, I'm trying a new discipline. I'm working hard to NOT disassemble everything in sight. Over years of car projects, I frequently discover (afterwards) I disassembled about 50% more than necessary to effect repair.
And every single fastener or pipe connection not fondled in 45 years is a chance to snap or break something. So am trying the novel approach of using thought & information rather that blind, frenzied yanking & cranking.
Any thoughts on low-impact Series 2 radiator extraction?
Thanks, all.

This company made new radiators for Jags. Pricy but they have a good reputation

In the Ballpark...
Jahmiata,
Thanks to you and others for spending time on this. Available radiators seem to fall into two camps, know reliable old Jag parts vendors & 'name' online radiator suppliers, and E-Bay bargains. I had hoped to find a Forum member who has recently purchased a radiator for an XJ Series II V12, and get some feedback. I accept any new radiator will be for a Series III XJ or an XJS. The Series II has some details such as oil cooler support brackets, trans line nipples, and drain valve stem brackets which are not seen on pictures of the Series III/XJS radiator.
The 'name' vendor online prices, old Jag parts vendor prices, and the cost of having mine substantially rebuilt all fall in a narrow price range, $ 650 - $ 800.
Online bargain units appear to cluster around $ 300.
Haynes shows my radiator sitting on top of the engine oil cooler. My oil cooler actually sits in front of the bottom of radiator, supported on brackets integral with bottom of radiator. Pins on bottom of condenser sit in rubber grommets on top of oil cooler.
Since no replacement radiator shows oil cooler brackets, how are others oil cooler mounted? Does your condenser 'stack' on top of oil cooler?
The good news is either these things are very hardy, or very reliable, very few radiator purchase stories out there!
Thanks, all!

I remembered one other...they are based in Idaho as I recall.
Cooling Parts
They actually sub the radiator work out, but still...
