Rebuilding 4.2 straight 6 XK engines
Hi.
I'm currently looking at a completely rebuilt for my Serie 2 XJ6.
A recent search shows that quite a bunch of companies doing this work have disappeared.
Here is what I can find currently:
- https://jaguarxkenginespecialist.co....gine-rebuilds/ - seem to be specialised on V12
- https://www.thorntonrestorations.com
- https://massracing.co.uk/jaguar-engine-builds/ - seem to be focused on racing and not cosy engines like I need :-)
- https://jagxk.com/news/a-full-worksh...swing-workshop - seems specialised in older models
... any other ?
I would like to collect testimonies and opinions on companies in UK or France or Germany capable of doing a careful job.
Key criterion is to find a partner with machining shop in-house.
Thank you in advance.
