Reverse light adjustment

Hi all, on my ‘85 xj6 I see that it has a rocker switch on the gear shift. I was wondering what is the best way to adjust the switch so the reverse lights work. Thanks.

a rocker switch or a ROLLER switch?

if this roller switch is located on the right front side of the shifter., you need to follow the instructions in the Factory Service Manual.
