Question S3 AC condensate drain

Finally got the system evacuated and recharged (R134). Blows cold and works well on Auto setting. Every other car I've had, had a condensate drain, but this one does not show any dripping at all. The footfwells are bone dry also.

Where is the drain?

Memory??

There are 2, under the car, in the forward section of the trans tunnel. One each side.

You will need to LOOK carefully, poke around a bit, as some are near flush with the tunnel panel, while most protrude about 1". Usually full of muck, so best to actually find them, and poke them out.

And when you give 'em a poke be ready for a flow of very yucky water....that you probably don't want splashing in your eyes and face !

Cheers
