Default Seeking submerged pump mount

On draining my defective right tank I found the retained submerged pump mount and fuel feed assembly had been repaired by a previous owner and the welds were failing. It seeped fuel at the slightest provocation. My welder shop guy has spent no small amount of time attempting a repair but the metal is so thin it burns through. I am desperately seeking a good used piece, as it only comes with a submerged pump, which I don’t need. It’s the right hand version of the attached drawing from the parts catalog, mirror image of the illustration. I know I should post to the classifieds, and will do so as well.
Please PM if you have a spare.

Is that flange the same as the flange that holds the sending unit? find a tank and attach that in place of the old flange?

Thank you.

Allow me to correct myself, If a flange is needed, Find a old tank and cut out the flange of the sending unit big enough to replace the old flange. if you don't need a flange, Cut out the offending area. and weld in new patch. Fill with water to leak check.

Thank you.

Default Solution

Every single breaker / yard / used parts seller blew me off. I suspect getting into an old fuel tank was too much trouble; can’t faul them I guess.
‘Anyway my welding shop came through for me; fabricated a replacement out of stainless at no small cost, but it’s worth it.
‘The astute will notice the addition of a second return/equalizer line inlet, as the car was changed previously to an external single pump.
‘Thanks for the advice; I have to go get a little greasy.
