Series 2 V12 urgent help requested-plug leads
Hi all
i seem to have got myself into quite a pickle over the distributor and plug lead arrangement of my 1978 fuel injected V12.
Eighteen months ago it all seemed very straight forward. Now I seem to be confused between two contradictory diagrams.
was there a change in the firing order or distributor arrangement between models?
Could someone direct me towards a clear and unambiguous diagram of the setup.
I feel foolish floundering on such a basic thing
with thanks

Alan,
NOT a problem at all.

The attached image is looking down at the top, and the BLACK dot is 1A, and the leads are plugged in in an Anti-clockwise direction looking at the top.
Some caps have a 1A stamped at the 1A post, some do not.
THIS IS THELUCAS IGNITION LEAD LAYOUT. THE MARELLI IS WAY DIFFERENT AT THE CAP.
If the distributor is still in its original placement, this is the set up. If its been out, and refiitted without attention being paid, then that may have 1A at a different point, but lets not go there just yet. That too, is easily sorted if need be,
