Default Series ll Clock

I've sent my clock to two different shops and it is unfixable. Tried the usual sources to no avail and it cannot be converted to a quartz movement. Any other ideas?

You might have to just put in a quarts clock and forget about converting the one you have.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the PO had done that already to Nix. As I had never seen an OEM clock, I have no idea if it's correct or not. Certainly it looks pretty good in the hole.

Here's a pretty good pic.

fit one from a X300, It is narrower than the Series 2 clock but you can fill the sides with black plastic strips from behind.

easy to connect with 3 wires: one for Ground, one for 12 volts, one for the dash lights.

and the most incredible thing is that it works!

here's the clock Jaguar used in all the Big and Small Saloons, E types, you name it, from 1955 to 1968. Historically they are decorative items, since they never worked, not even at the Dealer's Showroom.

I found a second Series 2 clock in my parts hoard and it works! Amazing! The orange needle counts the Seconds, and the clock itself is the Quartz version of the KIENZLE clock of W Germany. I am refurbishing the cosmetics, from one clock to the other. The "pretty" one does not work, the "ugly" one works perfectly.
