Small things that make you smile: bezels
Been through a bit of torment with driveability issues of late; now resolved. Remind me to never again boast about how trouble-free my car is ! I obviously tempted the fates. You know the old saying "Be humble, or be humbled"
Anyhow, sometimes you need something simple and satisfying to raise your spirits. Something you can't bollix-up and which requires no thinking !
I happened across a new ignition key bezel to replace the ragged and dreary-looking original. Two minutes to install.
Cheers

that particular bezel has never made me smile. I actually think it is a terrible design, it moves, it is noisy, it is a p.i.t.a. to keep in place. it is easily and constantly being scratched by the ignition key. It is a failed attempt at making a mirror-image of the headlights switch bezel which is definitely stable.
"clamp it over the switch" someone decided. Yes, with a lame clamp and chromed screws of course.
