New member here. Just purchased a Euro-spec 1973 XJ6. Looking for info regarding what smog equipment was originally fitted to the USA delivery 1973 Series 1. I may need to retrofit smog controls to register in California. Thanks

I, for one, surely don't know. Hopefully others will chime in. I think the US used different carbs (Stromberg vs SU) and different intake manifold.

.....which might give some idea. In the fuel-engine-exhaust sections you'll "USA only" or similar on many items.
