Default Starfish on Doug D.'s XJ6

Hey Doug, would you be kind enough to post a photo of your Series III with the Starfish wheel fitted? Another poster was wanting to see the results, and I didn't think it appropriate to repost the photo herewithout your permission. Thanks!

Tip o' the cap, thanks.

There's never a bad time to look at a car like that.

Doug, looks just like mine, I also have starfish on my XJ-6. Except mine being white, and yours is so much better looking than mine, hell, yours probably didn't even leak oil! ( I do have the 7 inch outer headlights, if still being in the trunk waiting for install counts!

Isn't it funny how people's tastes vary? We had a tech here that loved the Series 3's with the Starfish wheels. I don't. We would go to lunch and tell each other how wrong the other was.

Ken, wouldn't it be a boring world if we all had exactly the same thing? I try not to be too critical of changes, and try to appreciate the older Jags, within reason. Now, a car being all blinged out with 24 inch wheels with rubber band tires, THEY SUCK!

Not only do tastes vary, but they change ! I couldn't wait to get Starfish wheels but after a couple years I got tired of them. Now I think the XJS Lattice wheels are the best choice for a Ser III.

For a couple years I had aftermarket wheels the car as well. Here's a pic running a slalom. I sorta kick myself for selling that car......[:@]
