Hi,
All the headlining and foam's now removed. To reveal.......







First Picture: Card cover for the motor
Second Picture: Rear part of the sunroof assembly which the steel solid section slides into when it retracts
Third Picture: The edge of the sunroof above the door and how it's fixed to the roof, including cotton wool (!), which considering the headlining looked original I assume was there from when it was installed.
I now just need to work out how to remove the steel sliding section of the sunroof so a new headlining can be put onto it. Onwards and upwards!

I hope I Never have to take mine apart Ever!!

When we bought the car the PO sternly warned, "DON'T OPEN THE SUNROOF!!" and I never have.

I don't like really like sunroofs.........

There may well be good reason there, but for me it's one of the reasons I chose this car..... it had one! I've dropped a line to Webasto to see if they can help with dis-assembly instructions and the trim which runs round the edge of the solid section. Fingers crossed
