Default Sticky front door handles

Front exterior door handles don't work only way to open the drivers side is to bump it in a little as I pull on the handle, but passengers side is completely useless. Anyone else have this problem and have fixed it?

year?

The linkages inside have little plastic pieces on them. These rot away and then the linkage has too move to far to accomplish anything sometimes.
