Hello All,

Unfortunately my 88 XJ40 has finally had to go to that great Jaguar home in the sky. Well actually it went to the junkyard around the corner but the first version sounds so much nicer!

I have found a very nice replacement, an 85 Series III in pretty good shape overall but the seats are shot. The one good thing about my 88 was the seats. They were in pretty decent shape.

My question is would it be possible to remove the seats from the 88 and install them into the 85? Is it a simple in and out procedure or something way more complicated?

I took a look at your site and couldn't find seats listed. Do you happen to have the seats I need or could you recommend someone who might?

A bit of a follow-up. I've found an excellent set of seats from an 84 xj6 series III. Surely those would be the same as an 85 wouldn't they?
