Too much bass..

for anyone that followed my thread last year about adding the speakers to rear deck, worked wonderfully! however............ if bass kicks too hard in trunk (that wasn't designed to have speakers in it) the deck lid springs start to vibrate and smack against the deck lid arms!!! sounds like someone with a hammer in the trunk!!!
just a heads up!!!!
(only found this out when daughter got in car and plugged her ipod in, ugh kids today listening to all that "noise". lol )

In this part of the world, it's mostly pickup trucks (and Japanese cars); Boom Trucks we call them, no matter the size, configuration or make.
It has to be making the occupants quite deaf when the bass rattles the windows of my work truck sitting 4 car lengths away. If I'm right next to one, it comes through loud and clear even through my 33db work ear plugs. It's quite disgusting. I consider it a form of pollution.
