Used AFM

I scavenged an airflow meter from an '86 Sovereign from a nearby self-service yard on Friday, but it had had the seal broken and top removed ..
I was wondering if anyone who has worked with these can detect any missing parts from the photos? I am not sure if the person who hacked it was just looking for modules or whatever or if they actually removed a part. any help would be greatly appreciated. Looking at photos online I am concerned there is meant to be something at the bottom right of the first picture...
On a side note, I just bought a parts car that is identical to mine except for the colour of the interior, and the AFM on that has definitely been damaged and left open to the elements. I bought this one from the yard so I can try and start that car before breaking it, but also because $29 for a used AFM is well worth it in case my own were to fail.
thanks

Tim,
If you want this one. I will give it to you for free. You'll just have to pay the postage. I hope your parts car has what you need. I would suggest checking the flapper inside of it. This one rubs just so slightly and it causes problems, but it still works better than nothing. I can't seem to throw it away.
Good luck.

parts car has the spring! So I'm all sorted in that I have a complete AFM should I need one.
In the pile of papers I got with my original car, there's a bill for almost 10k including a charge of $1320 for a new AFM; that was in 2004 ... it was already a 20 year old car !
