Just a couple more:
"Puddle lights" on the armrests, the lights in the door frames are blanked out.
Pockets on each front seat (rear).
Extended console with lighter and ashtray.
Deep pile throw rugs. (deep "fur")
The guages are laid deeply into the dash.
Wiring covers under the bonnet, and a cover over the wiper motor.
A cover over the inside of the boot lid.
Some of the things listed above were found on the standard XJ6 up until 82. When the VDP was launched, they were dropped from the standard cars, but kept as an upgrade.
I didn't know all the VDPs had the Power lock differential?

Thanks...
So you are certain all VPDs have the power lock diff? 2:88 ratio?
Not doupting you at all, just never realized that...
I'll email the guy about the fender. He had requested a shipping quote for the pair that I had, which was outrageous even through Greyhound. Never heard back from him, but I'll let him know that you have a right.
Thanks again

Thanks guys. Interesting learning this stuff. Even if I am a bufoon, I hate looking like one when people ask me questions about Jags. "You own one and you're a c@r guy, you should know everything there is to know about them"......yeah right! Nobody knows everything!
I wish there were more Jags in my part of the world, then I could at least compare them to my own, first hand. Although, I did meet an X-type the other day on my ride to work...they didn't even wave at me, of course, I was in my GEO, so I can't blame them. On a busy day I meet maybe a dozen cars/trucks (and during this time of year a tractor or two) on my 10 mile commute.
I think the closest dealership is probably in the twin cities or Omaha, 3-4 hours away.
