What do Red & Yellow Dots on your tire mean?
Gang - I came across this online article today and it certainly rang bells about tires on my car. I thought it might be of interest to you if you also didn't know about it.

Here is what I know: from the days 40 years ago, when I did my ASE certifications.
Yellow Dot - lightest point on the tire > should be lined up with the valve stem> heaviest point on the wheel.
Red Dot - flattest point on the tire > normally the point where weights should be added for proper balance.
Some manufacturers reverse the color coding. Why? I don't know.
