When I start cosmetically restoring this XJ6 next summer, I want to replace all the emblems and badges with new parts. I love these wheels whatever they're called and if I ever get an XJS, I hope these wheels are on it.

I also might add, the wheels appear to be painted. Is this correct for 82?

Those are "Kent" wheels and, yes, correct that they are painted.

Center caps are available from 'all the usual Jag suppliers' as far as I know. Watch out for cheap knock-offs.

Not sure about nowadays but they used to be sold as a three piece deal: the cap itself, the growler emblem, and the retainer that holds the caps to the wheels.

Cheers

Check with SNG Barratt. I recently ordered two brand new. The emblem and retainer all come as one piece. Quality was excellent on par with the OEM.

I like the Kent wheels also, especially on an XJS. Here's an article someone previously linked about the Kents.

The earliest Kents, back in the mid-70s, were polished....quite sporty looking in the day. It was later that Jaguar decided to paint them instead.
