Hi,
Just got a new replacement oil pressure sending unit but cannot find where it should be located. I've looked everywhere - except from underneath, but cannot see it. Also, where is the Oil pressure idiot light switch!

 

The sending unit for the oil pressure gauge is on the RH side of the engine....a few inches forward of the starter. In fact, more than a few have been broken off while replacing the starter....but I digress. So, anyhow, you'll need to get under the car to find it.

The switch for the idiot light is close by....a bit further forward, as I recall. I should remember more exactly but am having some brain fade at the moment!

Thanks for your reply. Will I get covered in Oil when I remove it to replace it? Do I need to drain the system? Does it need to be "primed" or "bled".
