Wiper motor wiring

Wiper motor wiring
hello all,
I am having a hard time with the wiper motor on my xj6. It did not work, I took it apart entirely but nothing seemed wrong.
Now I don't know where the wires should go, and what they need after turning on the wiperswitch. the original connector is gone, and replaced with just loose cable ends, so each wire fits on every of the 5 positions of the wiper motor (oh, and I also took out all original wiring and made a new loom myself, which is not helping my cause as I didn't stick to original jaguar colors etc :-).
the connector has three rows of connectors. The top row with 1 connection and the second and third row each have 2 connections.
But I have no clue as to what these need. At the moment, every wire seems to get 12v after turning on the wiper motor. Does not seem to be okay?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Am also working on my S1 wiper motor, Lucas 16W
These are strange motors, mine only has one speed... too slow... I have
it out of the car and the cable is pulled out of the wheelhouses. Lucas 16W is stamped on mine and it was only used in a couple of other British cars..
I am doing the testing in Jag Service Manual... today I applied 12V directly to the Red/Green wire on the Park switch and it ran much closer to the correct Slow/Normal speed.
There are three brushes, two across from each other and the third one is by itself.. about a year or so ago I took my motor apart and the third
brush was not conforming to the armature.. I ground it to shape with a Dremel stone and it started working.
Hope you are making some progress?

Found this great schematic and motor information
Found this: https://view.officeapps.live.com/op/...ng%2520(1).doc
It is three pages long and shows how the motor works and the wiring...
Wish I knew enough to be able to use it to troubleshoot my wiper problem(s).
