Default XJ6 parts suppliers or websites

Hi everyone, been a while since I've posted here. I have been rebuilding my XJ6 4.2L engine with the help of a local machinist who has coached me through the work at his shop. I am currently finished with measurements and ready to order parts. I'm somewhat stuck on where to find the parts I need that are going to be high quality and have the correct tolerances.
According to the machinist, these are the parts I need:
-cam, rod, main bearings (all standard)
-complete gasket set (with valve seals)
-piston rings (standard)
If you have any advice on where to order these parts or find them online, I would very much appreciate it!

(After I have the parts I'll be on to reassembling and then onto body work of the S-type. If you'd like picture updates I'm more than happy to update you all!)

I would start with Terry's Jaguar:

then I would check SNG Barratt USA store.

I've had good luck with Welsh enterprise, and Moss.
And believe it or not, Rock Auto has quite a good selection of Jag parts. Just watch out for the Cheap ones and go for the name brand.

Sometimes, if you know what you want, you can even get good Name Brand parts from Amazon and eBay.
We got quite a lot of good stuff from eBay in the beginning, but I would trust Amazon more now.
I have even got good quality parts from O'Reilly's. Lifetime guarantee available.

Agree with above.
Welsh has outstanding prices, been around forever.
A bit lower key and smaller operation than the others, which I personally like.

Indeed Rockauto can provide many options too.

Aware of all the usual suppliers noted above, I did some digging and researching out of curiosity.

I purchased this set from the UK. Outstanding price and all items of outstanding quality.
Even contacted the supplier/maker. Email responses very informative, friendly, and helpful.

Professional service, well packaged, shipped promptly and received quickly for an international shipment .

Includes everything. I've been very pleased.

ebay ID: Shirley9293 (search other item listings for variations)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/12097480631...IAAOxynapRhTLW

PS: Summit Racing also has very good pricing once you know the part numbers for items and use their search function. (Hasting rings, engine bearings, suspension bushings, exhaust silencer support brackets, etc.)
They will beat any advertised price if you make the effort .
I've used their online chat service for inquiry, and they made very good offers beating matched prices found elsewhere online.
Word to the wise.

As a final quick note, I simply wished to say it is wonderful you are doing all of that and have someone to walk along with you teaching, assisting, etc.
That's great. I wished I'd had that.

If I may suggest as well, I highly recommend using Hondabond (or Yamabond) on crucial, longstanding leak prone areas and those requiring longevity wherever possible.
It is the best. Those in the know swear by it...and it's why those cars and bikes never leak.
Can be found on Amazon. (ie. Hondabond 4)

Be careful and have fun
Over and out
