Default XJ6 S3 Fuel injector service kit

G'Day fellas

Its time to rebuild my fuel injectors on the 1980 XJ6 s3 4.2

but i cant seem to locate a rebuild kit with new filters, O rings etc...

Can anyone point out where there available.

If there ever was one ! Try the major Jaguar suppliers, but these cars ceased production 35 years ago.

I don't know of kit availability, but I can recommend this guy to do the work:

I sent him the rail with injectors from a scrapped XJS V12 that I'm using to change an E-Type to fuel injection. The assembly was a mess, sat outside for a long time. He stripped it, had the rail plated, cleaned and flow checked all the injectors (all happily checked good) and reassembled it ready to install. The hose fittings are the same as original and it worked perfectly.
I think he does also sell parts for DIY, but checking the flow and operation of the injectors is I think pretty important. I don't recall the cost, maybe a few hundred for the V12.

Rubber seals are easy to find on ebay. But inside there are small nets, they are very difficult to remove. Be careful not to damage the nozzle. My grids came complete with gaskets kit for the engine
