All,

I was driving down the street and engine just quit. No "clicking noise form the fuel pumps when i cycle the key. I added gas to both tanks just in case...nothing. I added gas to the filter and it started fine (until the gas was exhausted) and the car stopped running. had these fuel pumps for two years, zero issues. I tried both tanks by toggling between them with the dash switch, nothing. Is there a fuel fuse or relay I need to check/replace? Any thoughts?

 

fuel switches can be a bit of a pain, did you test the pumps directly with a power supply? below is the schematic for the system, just trace the power supply from start.

 

Thanks for the response, I did check the pumps directly and they pump, odd both would blow....any idea where the fuse is located?

 

possible 2 fuses, # 1 on the fuse panel & possible inline fuse behind front seat under the carpet or back seat, no familiar with the s1, is there power out of the switch to the pumps, if power out of the switch but not at the pump then logic's says there's an inline fuse
