Mine has two Cibie driving lights instead of the inner headlights. Outer lights are both High and Low seven inch beams.

Cibie lights are controlled by S3 ski slope modified to fit a S1 so I can use the slope mounted hole/switch for the driving lights.. really lights up the world with outers on High
and the Cibies on!!!

here's a Lucas England high beams floor switch from a late 1964-build Jaguar S type, part is dated June 1964.

complete with rubber cap. I guess the idea for the rubber cap is that the shoe doesn't slip.

Doug, funny you should mention revitalizing floor mounted dimmer switch. Exact procedure i used on mine this saturday with great results. Local Napa parts store thought he could easily source a new one as it looked like something Ac Delco made.
