XJC door cards (panels) originality
Did a '77 XJ6C originally have door panels with the "welded" pattern? I'm in the process of shopping for interior items for my '77 XJ6C. One source told me that mine should have had the "plain" door panel. Both of my '77 XJCs have the same pattern. Also, I might be interested in blue interior parts that anyone may have left over from their restoration, especially leather and vinyl.

the arm rest and cubby box are identical to my 1984 Series 3 XJ-6.
my cards don't have any "pressed" design or the elastic pocket, just the chromed waist molding similar to yours, otherwise flat.
check with John Skinner Ltd.:
XJ6 & XJ12 - John Skinner (Manufacturing) Ltd

Give BAS Jaguar in Palm springs a shout if you're looking for new panels with the original pattern. They've got all the heat welding equipment to do the original stuff with water resistant fiber board, etc. They did my car and it came out great! They have several sets of original patterns, I know mine aren't exactly the same
