XJR wheels on a SIII XJ6 - a couple fitment questions
I know some people put the 1995-1997 XJR wheels on SIII XJ6 cars. The wheels are 17x8" with 30mm negative offset. It also seems like the 245/45-17 tires work without any problems.
I found a set of wheels that are very similar, however, the offset is 20mm rather than 30mm. This means that the wheel (and of course the tire) will sit 10mm closer to the fender lip. So for the guys running the XJR wheel on your SIII- is there an extra 10mm of space between the fender lip and the tire?

Off hand I'd say it looks OK in front but not much to spare in the rear.
Cheers
