$2938 for a non running project XJ'S?
Must be a lot of deep pockets on BaT.
1987 XJ-SC - 119K miles. Doesn't run. Not great condition.

Yes it seems that Europeans, in particular Like American cars and are willing to pay a surprising premium for them over what us cheap Americans are willing to pay.
When I bought mine I had to come up from my normal $300 all the way to $500 to get nice rust free Southern California car with decent miles and condition.
I didn’t care too much about the decent condition. In fact that’s the hard part. It’s too nice to make into a race car. The interior is in nice shape, the paint buffed up nicely, the only negative is the original radio is gone.
